Today was almost a regular day. I worked only ha;f day cause my wife had to register Brooklyn for preschool today and we tried to get a optometrist appointment for her to cause she needs glasses. Yesterday we went way out in the middle of some oil fields to construct a new service. It was only a 6 pole job so we got all the poles framed and set yesterday. We dug 2 anchors and they are a pain in the but. We dug 26 in one day in 90 degree weather a couple weeks ago for another job that we did. I was on call this past week no calls though. My foreman went in and got us some double overtime for our next check because they did not put it on our last check that will be nice. it has not been really to exciting other than I applied for a new job in Rigby Idaho. It is a substation technician position which pays about 5 dollars more an hour than what I ma getting now. That would be really nice to get that job because you only work in substations and switching stations which have about 115,000 volts of electricity in them where here we only deal with 7,200 volts which is still a lot.
