The past Month

Well it is almost the end of another year. I have been working at YW for a year and a half now. It is a very enjoyable and rewarding job. I have been working on the construction crew for most of my time at YW. Just about four weeks ago our warehouse guy had to have surgery on his neck. So they took one of the guys off the underground crew and put him in the ware house. I got shuffled onto the underground crew for the time being. It has been a great experience and it is a good change for me at this time and has given me a better chance to learn some more aspects of the job that I am doing. I have had a good time here at YW. This is the time that I don't know which crew I will be working with day in and day out. I am also half way through my 3rd apprentice book and looking forward to finishing them up. Then I can just work and not worry about book work any more. 2 weeks ago I got to go to a regulator training class for two days in Stratton Colorado. This was cool because we really got to learn how they work and that is really important when this is something that we work with in our job and they are one of the most dangerous apparatuses that we have and maintain. I also got the opportunity to see a couple of guys that I wen to school with and that was good. I am ready for a new year.
